Luglio è volta via come una foglia nel vento ed i preparativi fervono... ma ovviamente siamo ancora in alto mare! Sono arrivati i sacchi-bivacco per tutti: torneranno utili se non riusciremo a montare le tende sulle affollate spiagge agostane. Abbiamo controllato i materassini gonfiabili: per sincerarci che non ci siano fori invisibili li abbiamo gonfiati oltre misura e sono tre giorni che resistono appoggiati alla parete, in piedi come due condannati ad un'estate di passione. Le tende sono a posto, l'abbigliamento Kokatat è uno schianto, i carrellini forniti da Giancarlo Gianelli sono arrivati, le pagaie Avatak sono fiammanti, il Baidarka di CS Canoe sta ricevendo gli ultimi ritocchi e speriamo quest'anno di non dover ricorrere alle cure postume di Kayak Rescue, che ogni volta ci sostiene con ritocchi e restauri...
L'euforia cresce ed è cominciato il conto alla rovescia: la prossima settimana saremo già in viaggio!!!
We're almost ready to start, almost! The bivouac-bags (is the translation correct?!?) are finally arrived for everybody: they will be useful if we won't succeed in finding places for the tents on the crowded beaches. We've checked the air bed: to make sure that there are no invisible holes we have inflated them as much as possible and now they are standing to the wall as two convicts, waiting for a long cold funny summer. The tents are ok, the Kokatat equipment is great, the little trailers made by Giancarlo Gianelli have finished, the Avatak paddles are flaming, the Baidarka made by CS Canoe is receiving the last retouches and we hopes this year not to need the care of Kayak Rescue...
Euphoria grows up day by day and the countdown started: next week will be on the trip!!!
